2020.11.23 00:01 thescroggy My Take on Glenn Davis' Interview with John Walker that No One Asked For

Hey Dynabros!
I finally got to listen to Glenn Davis interview with John Walker and it was frustrating to listen to. He starts by speaking about the club's obvious need for change in regards to declining fan presence and almost non-existent presence in the market. Yeah John, you think?! The change that needs to happen is primarily in the club culture - the entire club, not the just the coaches and players. Changing the branding is just nonsense in regards to that. Right now, our club is a steaming pile of dog crap. Changing the label on it isn't going to change what it is.

He later starts explaining the process behind changing the badge and then reveals that the decision was made two years ago in defense of the horrible timing of its release. First, even if the rebrand decision was made two years ago, it still would be tone deaf. Why they thought it was necessary or needed is beyond me outside of "our badge looks a little dated". And I know that they are probably thinking, "look at all the interaction we are getting! Any kind of engagement is good engagement!" but I don't think that is really the case. Most of my friends that have responded have been responding with one foot out of the door. They began moving towards the door because of where we were as a club two, three, or even five years ago!

There was so much that made me angry, but here's the part that I feel is the most important. When I hear Gabriel Brenner, Matt Jordan (please get him out), or John Walker talk about our beloved club, they speak as if they've just woken up from a nap. They sound devoid of any passion. Look, I am one of those "hard core elitist" fans that John said was so hard to win over. I started loving this sport by watching the incredible USMNT run in the 2009 Confed Cup. I fell in love with Bocanegra and Dempsey which led me to Fulham. I watched those matches and loved the grit of those relegation fodder teams and the absolute audacity of the 2010 Europa League run. We had no business being there. Then, I got invited to a Dynamo game. I saw a team that had the grit and audacious swagger of those Fulham teams I loved. They played as a hard-as-nails collective unit. With Brad Davis' kissed-by-God left foot, Rico Clark destroying the midfield, Geoff Cameron dominating the box, and the odd Moffatt-Rocket, I gave my heart to this club. I have loved every phase of growth of this team since. From the days of us incomprehensibly hating on Will Bruin, the beauty of that dammed Boniek smile, the knee-high socks of Coyle to the blistering counter of the Cabrera Honduran Connection! But when they speak, I don't hear any of that. Do they even care about this club? If I were John, and my job was to promote, market, and run the business side of this team , I would be pounding the table to get this damn thing in shape. Where is the fire and passion for this club? Why does every answer sound like a 14 year old kid giving a presentation to his class about Pride and Prejudice? They speak will all the passion of a vulcan on an opioid bender. It is by far the most infuriating thing. John, Matt, Gabe, if you ever read this, show that you give a damn for once or get your hands off my club.

2020.11.15 16:34 bigboxman8 Top 10 worst Doctor Who Episodes

1) Heaven Sent - The doctor just walks around an empty, boring castle, all alone talking to himself. No companion or interesting plot.
2) Blink - You mean to tell me a stone statue could destroy the entire universe? Why didn't they just hit it with a hammer and knock it over. And the Doctor isn't in the majority of the episode. WTF the show is called Doctor Who and the Doctor is not the main character of the story.
3) The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit - The episode tries to tell me the planet "Krop Tor" is impossible. We are told this in the title of part 1, But we clearly see the characters working/living on the planet throughout the episode. They should have called this episode the "Possible against all odds planet." Then the title wouldn't have been a lie.
4) Let's Kill Hitler - I hate Hitler, so when I saw that the title, I was so happy. Finally a doctor Who episode could finally give me my wish of seeing Hitler die on screen. But in the actual episode, they just stuff Hitler into a cupboard and go back to the boring plot about the Teselecta or some other rubbish
5) Army of Ghosts and Doomsday - Rose is such a bloody annoying character, it makes no practical sense that the Doctor would get so sad over her being locked in the parallel world. Why should the doctor care about such a whinny companion? Instead of burning up a sun to talk to Rose one more time, the Doctor should have let her suffer. Micky was too good for Rose #RoseIsOverrated
6) Twice Upon a Time - OMG. My beloved Capaldi, the greatest man to walk the earth and the most amazing doctor, regenerates into a woman. How do you go from the best Doctor ever to a dumb woman? I am so sexist. I hate the 13th Doctor because of her gender and not because of how the character was written. The worst part was I had to wait till the end of the episode to see this reveal. Who knew the final scene of an episode could ruin it, in its entirety. Chibnall ruined Moffatts masterpiece! Chibnall bad! #NotMyDoctor
7) Rosa - You dare put a white male villain in my Doctor Who. This must mean, that Chibnall hates all white males. I am not white, but I am going to get offended on their behalf, because I am an idiot.
8) It Takes You Away - The story presents the father as being unfit to look after her Child. He left her abandoned in the house for four days. I know Chibnall is just saying that in this instance the father is bad and not that all father are bad, but I hate everything Chibnall will ever write, so am going to imagine an agenda. Chibnall obviously hates all fathers and is trying to put that in his episodes. Is he saying that my father is bad? I hate this episode.
9) Demons of the Punjab - This episode contains a lot of POC. I am a racist who hates anyone not white in my Doctor Who stories. As a result this story sucks.
10) The Timeless Children - I have been watching the show since 2005. I have gone back and watched all classic Who episodes. I have wasted an ungodly amount of money on Big Finish stories. And all for Chibnall to ruin the Doctor's story. Did the show really try to say there were more Doctors before Hartnell? How disgusting. They also gave the Doctor infinite regenerations, removing any tension from future stories. I know they never actually mention this anywhere in the episode, but go with me because I want to get mad. Chibnall ruined the legacy of the show and will never be forgiven. Chibnall will forever go down in history as the person who killed Doctor Who. I will still watch season 13 tho, because I want more episode to get made over.

2020.10.29 02:00 portlane Patricia Alderton (Sept. 1, 1946 - Oct. 10, 2020)

Patricia Ann Alderton
Sept. 1, 1946 - Oct. 10, 2020
Our beloved mother, "Nana", mother-in-law, sister and friend to all, passed away Oct. 10, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving family and the love she felt from her many friends. To her children, she was the MOM that all their friends reached out to for support and encouragement, whether at school or on the athletic fields. Pat lived a life that touched the hearts of so many people. From her family, to her co-workers and students at David Douglas High School, she shared her sense of caring and love for all. She was truly beautiful from within and a joy to all she encountered.
Pat is survived by her children, Karin Kilburg, Amy Mahler, David Alderton and Brian Alderton; 10 grandchildren, Sydney, Jackson, Zachary, Kobey and Brody Kilburg; Alexandra and Daniel Mahler; Hailey, David and Grace Alderton; and her siblings, Julie Dodds, Lauri Gordon, Steve and Mike Moffatt.
Pat will live forever in our precious memories and we are comforted by her everlasting love. She is now at peace and will guide her family as an angel from above. Services for Pat will be held Nov. 7, 2020, and are limited to her immediate family, due to Covid concerns. Interment is at Lincoln Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Pat, please give a special hug to someone you love on that day of her life's celebration.

2020.10.27 15:06 ALDO113A Time war in r/OutOfTheLoop (OOTL) after someone questions the low audience score and high critic score for Series 13 of Doctor Who, plus The Last Jedi comparison. Mods eventually had to lock it citing alt-right REEEEing

(link sorted by controversial)
"What's up with Dr. Who having a high critic score but a low audience score on Rotten Tomatoes?"
Highlights
It was always full SJW. You should see the 60s and 70s episodes. (9 points)
Viewers don't like bad (And more importantly dull and uncreative) writing. Doctor Who is a bottomless chalice of flaws, but it was hardly this boring since its 2005 revival.
Critics, like always, are easily baited by left-wing political commentary and virtue signalling.
Of course, it couldn't possibly be because they like the episodes more than you, they must have been tricked by devious radical left wing messages like 'racism is bad' and 'women are good'. (-25 points)
It is literally a Rosa Parks episode, and you think it's a problem that 'the focus was more on the racism than anything else'. Wow. So what should they have focused on, then, in the Rosa Parks episode? Other than the racism, which was the defining social issue of the time? I... I just genuinely don't get what you're even trying to look for. (-10 points)
Someone, at -11 points, tries to argue why the complaints are wrong
The Last Jedi Post-script
  1. TLJ is legitimately a bad Star Wars movie. They fucked a lot of things up, including Luke.
The movie creators are excusing their bad movie by saying, 'anyone who doesn't like this is a bigot,' but its just a rationalization. They made a bad movie. They made a lot of bad choices and the writing was something out of a contrarian 6th grader's head.
No idea about Dr. Who, but you're mischaracterizing the reason many people did not enjoy TLJ.
  1. No, The Last Jedi had a lot of legit criticism of its misogyny and racism and sidelining all the actual protagonists or twisting their narratives to make room for Rian Johnson's Emo Nazi Favorite. This was demonstrable by its embarrassing box office showing. (9 points)
The Doctor Who "audience rating," on the other hand, is the result of whiny white boys gaming the voting system (as is actually a perennial and chronic problem on sites like RottenTomatoes and IMDB, where users overwhelmingly skew male and white). This is demonstrable by the fact that the show it earning its highest viewing numbers since the Tennant years. To quote somebody who actually took the time to look up the numbers:
> The average rating for Peter Capaldi’s last season was 5.8 million viewers. No episode that season rated above 6.68 million - and that rating was for the season premiere. That season featured the only two episodes to rate below 5 million viewers EVER since Doctor Who was revived in 2005. > > The season before that the average rating was 6.20 million. That was the first season since 2005 not to have a single episode rate over 7 million viewers. Every season before that had an average rating in the 7 millions, except for season 4 in 2008 which averaged 8.42 million. Incidentally, that was David Tennant’s last full season, and the final full season before the Moffatt years. > > Whilst the ratings have only been announced for 4 episodes so far, not a single episode of Jodie Whittaker’s first sesason has fallen below 8 million viewers. The average rating so far has been 9.15 million. Its true that it is unlikely the average will stay that high - ratings have technically been dropping week by week. Exactly as happened every season in the past - it is perfectly normal for ratings to fall towards the middle of a season, and rise again for the finale.
Edit: lmao sorry to chap your asses with cold hard numbers, whiny white boys (-10 points)

2020.10.22 20:14 INCMythbuster My thoughts on the Prophecies of Manalo and the Iglesia ni Cristo (Part 2)

The Far East
The Hebrew word “Mizrach” is taught by the Iglesia ni Cristo to mean “Far East”. Far East is presumed to mean the Philippines because the Philippines is the only Christianized country in the Far East. The following verses are prophecies attributed to Felix Y. Manalo, the “Last Messenger”.
Isaiah 43:5 KJV Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, H4217 and gather thee from the west;
(Moffatt: …from the far east will I bring your offspring, and from the far west I will gather you.)
Almost every other Bible translation reads, “from the east”. The Good News Translation, a paraphrased Bible, says “from the distant east”, but there is no way to justify the “Far East” doctrine from any of these. That is why the Moffatt Version is exclusively used.
Isaiah 46:11 KJV - Calling a ravenous bird from the east, H4217 the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
The Iglesia ni Cristo describes the Hebrew word Mizrach as “Far East” as opposed to “kedem” which they claim means “Near East”. Is this true?
Strong’s Hebrew Concordance describes the Hebrew word “Mizrach” (Strong’s H4217) as: the place of sunrise, the east, east side, eastward, sun rising or rising of the sun.
According to both Smith’s Bible Dictionary and Easton’s Bible Dictionary, kedem is generally used to refer to the nations immediately to the east of Palestine. This would include, for example, Arabia, Mesopotamia and Babylonia, their neighbors to the east.
Mizrach, on the other hand, is used of the far east with “a less definite signification”. In other words, these nations to their east are farther away than the countries bordering their land. That would include Persia (modern day Iran) in the Middle East, the Philippines in the Far East, and every nation in between. Of course, there were no Middle East or Far East geographical designations until the 12th Century according to an article in Wikipedia entitled “Far East”. Just because a country is in an easterly direction and far away does not mean it is in the Orient or Far East as we know it today.
In my opinion, the most reliable source to explain the true meaning of any Hebrew word are the people who speak the language, so we should defer to the writers of the Old Testament. I am reasonably sure that these men knew the correct way to use the word “mizrach”. That is why I am giving you a comprehensive list of verses that use this word.
The English translations for this word are in bold type. Do any of these refer to the FAR EAST as the geographic designation seen on today’s maps? Are any of these places anywhere near the Philippines? As you will see, mizrach simply means “in, to or from an easterly direction”:
In all the below verses, you will find a numerical reference to Strong’s Hebrew Concordance. The number assigned to the word “mizrach” is Strong’s H4217.
EASTWARD - IN THE EAST
Numbers 3:38 KJV - But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east (qedem), even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, (mizrach) H4217 shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, …
Numbers 32:19 KJV - For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward. H4217
Deuteronomy 3:17 KJV - The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdothpisgah eastward. H4217
Deuteronomy 3:27 KJV - Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, H4217 and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
Deuteronomy 4:49 KJV - And all the plain on this side Jordan eastward, H4217 even unto the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.
Joshua 11:8 KJV - And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephothmaim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; H4217
Joshua 13:8 KJV - With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, H4217 even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;
Joshua 13:27 KJV - And in the valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward. H4217
Joshua 13:32 KJV - These are the countries which Moses did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward. H4217

2Kings 10:33 KJV - From Jordan eastward, H4217 all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and the Manassites, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, even Gilead and Bashan.

1Chronicles 9:18 KJV - Who hitherto waited in the king's gate eastward: H4217 they were porters in the companies of the children of Levi.
1Chronicles 26:14 KJV - And the lot eastward H4217 fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
1Chronicles 26:17 KJV - Eastward H4217 were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
Nehemiah 12:37 KJV - And at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward. H4217
Joshua 4:19 KJV - And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east H4217 border of Jericho.
ON THE EAST - ON THE EAST SIDE – THE EAST
Joshua 11:3 KJV- And to the Canaanite on the east H4217 and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, …
Joshua 12:1 KJV - …from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east: H4217
Joshua 12:3 KJV - And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, H4217 and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, H4217 the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:

Joshua 18:7 KJV - But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan on the east, H4217 which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.

Judges 21:19 KJV - Then they said, Behold, there is a feast of the LORD in Shiloh yearly in a place which is on the north side of Bethel, on the east side H4217 of the highway that goeth up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.

In part 2 of this series we go to a host of translations and select commentaries which further develop and explain upon the meaning of Revelation 3:14. Furthermore it goes on to demonstrate that they really do preach as the Apostle Paul mentions in Corinthians a different Jesus and as is explained in Galatians a false gospel.

John Gill’s Commentary on the Whole Bible
The beginning of the creation of God; not the first creature that God made, but the first cause of the creation; the first Parent, producer, and efficient cause of every creature; the author of the old creation, who made all things out of nothing in the beginning of time; and of the new creation, the everlasting Father of, everyone that is made a new creature; the Father of the world to come, or of the new age and Gospel dispensation; the Maker of the new heaven and new earth; and so a very fit person to be the Judge of the whole world, to summon all nations before him, and pass the final sentence on them. The phrase is Jewish, and it is a title the Jews give to Metatron, by whom they sometimes mean the Messiah; so those words in Genesis 24:2, and Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, they paraphrase thusF2, “”and Abraham said unto his servant”, this is Metatron, (or the Mediator,) the servant of God, “the eldest of his house”; for he is תחלת בריותיו של מקום, “the beginning of the creation of God”, who rules over all that he has; for to him the holy blessed God has given the government of all his hosts.

The beginning of the creation of God — not he whom God created first, but as in Colossians 1:15-18 (see on Colossians 1:15-18), the Beginner of all creation, its originating instrument. “… the beginning of the creation of God (= πρωτότοκος πάσης κτίσεως, ref. Col., where see note, as also Bleek on the Hebrews, vol. ii. 1, p. 43 note. In Him the whole creation of God is begun and conditioned: He is its source and primary fountain-head. How could every creature in heaven and earth adore him, if he were one of themselves (cf. ch. Revelation 19:10)? We need only think of the appellation of our Lord as the α and ω (ch. A. T. Robertson’s Word Pictures in the New Testament
The beginning of the creation of God (η αρχη της κτισεως του τεου — hē archē tēs ktiseōs tou theou). Not the first of creatures as the Arians held and Unitarians do now, but the originating source of creation through whom God works (Colossians 1:15, Colossians 1:18, a passage probably known to the Laodiceans, John 1:3; Hebrews 1:2, as is made clear by Revelation 1:18; Revelation 2:8; Revelation 3:21; Revelation 5:13).
William Barclay’s Daily Study Bible
(iii) As the Revised Standard Version has it, he is the beginning of God’s creation. This phrase, as it stands in English, is ambiguous. It could mean, either, that Jesus was the first person to be created or that he began the process of creation, as Trench put it, “dynamically the beginning.” It is the second meaning which is intended here. The word for beginning is arche (Greek #746). In early Christian writings we read that Satan is the arche (Greek #746) of death, that is to say, death takes its origin in him; and that God is the arche (Greek #746) of all things, that is, all things find their beginning in him.
The connection of the Son with creation is frequently made in the New Testament. John begins his gospel by saying of the Word: “All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made” (John 1:3). “In him,” says Paul, “all things were created” (Colossians 1:15; Colossians 1:18). The insistence on the Son’s part in creation was due to the heretics who explained sin and disease by saying that the world had been created by a false and inferior god. It is the Christian insistence that this world is God’s creation and that its sin and sorrow are not his fault, but are caused by the disobedience of men. As the Christian sees it, the God of creation and the God of redemption are one and the same. http://studylight.org/com/dsb/view.cgi?bk=65&ch=3
NET Bible
54 tn Or “the beginning of God’s creation”; or “the ruler of God’s creation.” From a linguistic standpoint all three meanings for ἀρχή (arch) are possible. The term is well attested in both LXX (Gen 40:13, 21; 41:13) and intertestamental Jewish literature (2 Macc 4:10, 50) as meaning “ruler, authority” (BDAG 138 s.v. 6). Some have connected this passage to Paul’s statements in Col 1:15, 18 which describe Christ as ἀρχή and πρωτότοκος (prwtotoko”; e.g., see R. H. Mounce, Revelation [NICNT], 124) but the term ἀρχή has been understood as either “beginning” or “ruler” in that passage as well. The most compelling connection is to be found in the prologue to John’s Gospel (1:2-4) where the λόγος (logos) is said to be “in the beginning (ἀρχή) with God,” a temporal reference connected with creation, and then v. 3 states that “all things were made through him.” The connection with the original creation suggests the meaning “originator” for ἀρχή here. BDAG 138 s.v. 3 gives the meaning “the first cause” for the word in Rev 3:14, a term that is too philosophical for the general reader, so the translation “originator” was used instead. BDAG also notes, “but the mng. beginning = ‘first created’ is linguistically probable (s. above 1b and Job 40:19; also CBurney, Christ as the ᾿Αρχή of Creation: JTS 27, 1926, 160-77).” Such a meaning is unlikely here, however, since the connections described above are much more probable. https://net.bible.org/#!bible/Revelation+3:10

2020.10.09 17:49 Notathinguntilitis Bible help

I'm working on comparing verses to different bibles but I can't find a complete Moffatt or Lambsa bible online to reference. Does anyone have a link to one online?
I only can seem to find some info from the new testament. Most of what I find is how they are translated very badly and that they are unreliable.

2020.10.04 04:06 AgitatedText Streak 57: La musique

2020.10.02 02:18 MarkyMarkATFB RE: celeb guests playing political roles

Just a thought, and apologies if this has been posted before, but what if the point of bringing in someone like Jim Carrey to play Biden is to keep the actual cast freed up so they can play all the weird and unique people that are bound to pop up throughout this election process?
Say Alex Moffatt was tapped to play Biden, and suddenly someone who fits his skill set perfectly has some sort of interference, or event, during one of the debates? Suddenly they find themselves at a disadvantage, instead of an advantage.
I could go on, but won’t bore you, I think you get it. Again, apologies if this is been posted before, but I just thought of it.

2020.09.29 17:41 we_are_139 A number of the Residents of Gibson Island, MD have connections to the JFK Assassination, as well as other Coups and False Flags of the past 100 years, even up to 9 \ II

Gibson Island, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake is about a forty-five minute drive south of Baltimore. Until about 1920, it was mostly uninhabited except for some fisherman, seasonal baymen, and maybe a few farmers or Summer residents.
In the early 1920’s, William Stuart Symington Sr., the father of William Stuart Symington Jr., (US Air Force Secretary, Missouri Senator, JFK V.P. first choice, etc.) formed the Gibson Island Corporation to develop the Island as a Summer getaway for the Wealthy Families of Washington and Baltimore.
The center of the Island’s recreational and social scene was The Gibson Island Club. Residency on the Island usually came with a membership in the Club, which included a golf club, tennis, and the boat works for parking your yacht. The Club also accepted non-Residents by invitation and rigorous vetting.
The most famous person affiliated with the Club was not a member and could never pass the vetting even if invited. Future Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall was a busboy in the dining area as a teenager before moving on to better things.
The development of Gibson Island proceeded slowly starting in the 1920s. By World War II, there were still less than 50 single family Summer “cottages.” (“Summer Cottage” is a misnomer in wealthy shore enclaves up and down the East Coast. They include mansions and large Victorian style homes with electricity and running water. “Cottages” are not the typical seasonal beach bungalows one sees in middle class beach towns, which are mostly just a place to change your bathing suit before going out with the kids for corn dogs and to ride the Ferris wheel.)
By the early 1960s, there were probably 100 Cottages and as of 2020, there are about 150 homes (separate families.)
The Gibson Island connections to the JFK Assassination can be tenuous, depending on the researcher’s “theories” point of focus with respect to motive, means, the “management” of the operation, and related machinations. Assassination researchers looking for the actual “Kill Team” are probably not going to find such pedestrian players among the Croquet Playing types that owned a house on Gibson Island (and a house in Baltimore, and a house on Jupiter Island, and an apartment in NYC, etc.)
However, those with a focus on the possible assassination planners, financial sponsors, and those with a long-term or strategic motive, should find some of Gibson Island’s residents and non-resident Club Members interesting.
If the JFK Assassination is examined in the context of little talked about history in the 50 years leading up to 1963, and 50 years after, then Gibson Island becomes very interesting.
We view the JFK Assassination as the work of a Cabal. The Assassination was not the Cabal’s first or last exercise in evil and includes other Assassinations and attempts, coups, false flags and other forms of very organized criminal activity, such as the sale of military secrets to enemies and friends.
Specific events include the effort by WWI era industrialist and bankers to rally the American public for War in Europe, the Businessman’s Plot, pre-WWII industrial espionage, the pre-WWII recruitment of German Scientists, WWII and post-WWII theft of Military Technology from Fort Monmouth NJ, eugenics, Weaponizing diseases, the Apollo Affair, Watergate, CIA Money Laundering and even 9/11.
In short, many Gibson Island residents, club members show up on the roster of a variety of conspiracies of the past 100 years. If a wealthy industrialist involved in the Businessmen’s plot of 1934, finding the same person, or a relative in the JFK files is an indication to us that they may be a member of the “High Cabal” or Carrol Quigley’s Inner Circle.
A few Gibson Island names that stick out from the Kennedy Assassination include;
Harold N. Arrowsmith Jr. – Financed George Lincoln Rockwell’s neo-Nazi movement in about 1958. Corresponded with a German (Hans Rechenberg) associated with Goring during WWII. Rechenburg was corresponding with Otto Skorzeny at the same time.
Ulius Amoss – CIA and OSS, many potential connections including supposed connections to Bay of Pigs training exercises.
Godfrey A. Rockefeller – Very close friend of George H.W. Bush. Chief Pilot for Bell Helicopter. Co-Founder World Wild Life Fund. Worked in same Bell Facility near Dallas as Michael Payne. (Same Blue Blood Social Class.)
Merson Booth – Nuclear engineer. Possibly connected to Apollo Affair (smuggling of uranium to Israel.) Related by Marriage to White Russian families that connect to deMorensheldts.
Alger Hiss – Soviet Spy (possible member of Gibson Island Club.)
The Bagley Family – Extended family of Pete Bagley (CIA.) – Cover-upper of Assassination.
The Dupont Family – Belin branch – Chief Counsel Warren Commission. Associated with Businessman’s Plot. Ethel DuPont, daughter of Eugene committed suicide about 6 months after Mary Pinchot Meyer.
The Pinchot Family – Uncle of Mary Pinchot Meyer (contemporary of Ethel DuPont) summered on Gibson Island from late 1920’s on.
The Pearre Family – Related to General Charles “Pearre” Cabell. Fired by JFK over Bay of Pigs. Brother was Mayor of Dallas.
The Mueller Family – Related to Cabells. Mueller’s mother was first Cousin to Richard Bissell, also fired by JFK with Cabell.
There are a number of other Gibson Island names of interest that may connect to the JFK Assassination. The individuals or family names below connect to other Deep State “Plots” of the past 100 years.

Plot: Watergate

Bob Woodward
George Tillman Bell (author of Nixon’s enemies list. Worked for Bell Helicopter and/or customer of Bell. Died before testifying to Congress.)

Plot: 9/11

Victor O’Schinnerer – founder of Marsch Mclennan.

Plots: Businessmans Plot, pre-War German Scientist Recruitment, Industrial Espionage.

George Moffatt – Sugar Trust Baron, related to Vanderbilts
John Raskob – President of Dupont, Estate was eventually bought by Soviets for retreat. Raskob was a member of the Gibson Island Club and Estate was directly across the Bay.
Belgian Diplomats – Rented on Gibson Island in 1920s. Closely connected to Rothschild connected Belgian Banks. Conspired with US industrialists to rally the US Populace to Join WWII.

2020.09.13 07:32 Scmods05 Your favourite Master entrance?

Rewatching S9, which I don't remember super loving, but I have an immense amount of respect for Moffatt absolutely not wasting time with Missy's re-entrance:

"Cutting to the chase. Not dead. Back. Big surprise. Never mind."

It's an amazing "look guys, I really can't be bothered spending even two minutes with this. Let's just get on with it."
The Master is a villain that's had a range of entrances over the journey though. What's your favourite?

2020.09.05 01:49 unquietgraves Day 14: Cowboys must be regretting letting Olumba go.

Day 14: Guess who’s back?
Pads are on. Offense in Brown-White, Defense in White-Brown. The socks are my favorite part of the uniforms.
Puppy of the day is Kevin Stefluffski. Not exactly fluffy though.
Larry Ogunjobi and Joel Bitonio having a vet day, Willie Wright is stepping in. Greedy Williams, Kevin Johnson, Mack Wilson and MJ Stewart aren’t practicing either in the sidelines though.
The jogging after the introductions (which are kinda weird without the crowds) are fucking hilarious. Redwine jogs like a woman with scoliosis.
Lmao! Defensive linemen and Offensive linemen are competing to catch a punt. Sheldon vs Toth. Jamie booms it with some mustard for both punts, Toth falls trying to catch it, Sheldon bobbles it but catches it.
Couple of people in the stands all masked up and very well separated.
Offense versus air to perfect the plays.Seeing 3 TE sets, yeah I like that.
Nick Harris has a base like a fucking bulldog, bet you could hit him with a wrecking ball and he wouldn’t fall over.
Seems Baker has figured out to throw to his receivers with different levels of heat.
Seibert kicking the ball with some agression and precision. Ward almost gets a hand on the third kick, doesn’t faze Meatball though, he’s been perfect so far (got a fifty yarder right down the middle with enough power to light up the stadium).
I’m expecting GREAT THINGS from Takitaki, seems he’s getting better at recognizing plays and anticipating them. He pops off the screen during the walk through.
Daniel Ekuale (straight up killed Evan Brown) and Porter Gustin are napalm, basically bombed through the line to kill a play before it started.
Keenum with a short pass to Taywan Taylor who gets pushed out quickly.
Kevin Stefanski calling plays today, it’s still up in the air who will call plays.
Garrett Gilbert whets the ball to Natson but Meander claims he got him. Next is a pass to DPJ, smooth catch but Robert Jackson stops the play from progressing.
Benny LeMay should stay on the practice squad, dude has great burst and will run through your face.
Carlson with a nice catch from Gilbert then Taywan Taylor with a nicer catch off a rainbow from Gilbert. Robert Jackson was the corner, he got his ass handed to him. Taywan Taylor would have made this team in any other year, dude is as consistent as they come.
Keenum now in, gets it to Taywan Taylor. Good ball, better catch, great coverage from Olumba.
DPJ with a big time catch, great catch in traffic from a Keenum ball and he tries to get extra yards but gets touched.
3rd and goal, down 3. Keenum to DPJ on a corner fade, throw was a little behind. DPJ really tried man, laid out and everything. Keenum is rightfully pissed off at himself. Seibert ties the game.
Down 6, 2nd and 10 on the 38. Garret Gilbert is in went for a shit earlier and Olumba nearly picks it off. Tries for Higgins again, AJ Green closes the roads. Dude is much muscular than a typical Corner.
Benny LeMay gets the fiver and next is a short pass to JoJo Natson on a jerk route for a first down.
Gilbert tried a rainbow to Higgins, Olumba is fucking GAME! Two pass break ups on the drive from him. Slenderman type reach.
Javonte Moffatt ate that pass from Gilbert, gets the fucking interception.
Down 6, 20 seconds in the clock and no time out. Gilbert to DPJ and no complaints there, catches it and looks to hit a homer.
Chad Thomas and Ekuale pressure Gilbert into throwing away the pass.
Chad Thomas again, dude gets the in game sack and he’s looking lean and mean for that roster spot. Gilbert is doing some Rodgers shit with how long he’d holding on to the ball.
Gilbert has a tough outing, completed to DPJ but out of bounds, Robert Jackson with the nice coverage.
Down 6 again, Gilbert puts it up for Carlson who tries a one hander but SHELDRICK REDWINE was having none of that.
I’m genuinely not worried about our DBs (especially the Cornebacks as of today). Olumba is light outs! Robert Jackson isn’t too bad and AJ Green would be starting if Olumba hadn’t played out of his mind this camp.
Not a lot of televised first team action, seems more like a practice to confirm who is being cut and people to sign to the practice squad.
Edit: Harvard and Mommy Piñata have dashed my hopes and dreams of Slenderman Olumba making the team. I really thought he would make the team but I guess this is why I’m not a coach or exec.
